I have  created a flowchart to help students determine if a source is academic and, if it is academic, if it is also peer-reviewed.

Originally this flowchart was formatted for the dimensions of a specific LibGuide, but then I reformatted it for letter sized paper to create a printer friendly version.

Finally, I created an animated version in PowerPoint for use in teaching.   This last one is not quite as atheistically pleasing as the others, because in order to make the text large enough to be read from the back of the classroom, I had to sort of squish everything else to get it onto the slide.
